Equipment list in bag :
Nikon D300
Nikon 70-200mm VR f/2.8 AF-S ED
Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR micro
Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S
Nikon 12-24mm f/4
I got my Lowepro CompuPrimus AW today. I must sat that I wasn't expecting such a large bag. I went to the store and tried it. It is extremely comfortable even when loaded. It has a very nice laptop case fitted in front slot. Lower photo compartment was large enough to get the following:
D300 w/ MB-D10 + 105mm VR + 12-24mm w/hood + 17-35 f/2.8
You can also carry 70-200 with the body and squeeze 105mm in one of the remaining places.
Top compartment is large enough to get almost any thing. Winter coats, books, magazines or if you are trekking for couple of days you can carry your personal items such as clothing. The front laptop opening can be used to carry ropes, tents or sleeping bags. My Rover II AW bag looks like a day pack compared to this bag. It is very light yet very comfortable. There are many straps to adjust to your body and it provides perfect fit.
I have many Lowepro bags (almost all) but I can clearly say that this is the best of all. I should exclude Dryzone 200 of course. This bag is very light almost 5lbs (2.5 kg) without the laptop sleeve. I would strongly recommend it. But this is the largest of the 3 versions. This might me too big. The top part is bellows shaped so when it is empty is is folded almost flat.
The laptop sleeve also fastens to the bag by a velcro band and it is securely sits in place. The front lid is also padded.
I think I finally found the camera bag to go many day long trekking with my camping gear and photo gear.
Likes about the bag:

Nikon D80
Nikon 18-200mm VR F/3.5-5.6G IF-ED
Nikon 85mm f/1.8
Nikon 35mm AF f/2
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6D HSM
Nikon SB-600 flash
Apple PowerBook G4 15"
I have not (yet) bought this bag, but was able to test it extensively in a store, and take some photos of it, which might clarify some confusion as to the location of the laptop.
The bags fits me nicely, though it is really big, I am about 1.95m, and the bag is about the entire length of my back, as can be seen in the photos. The waist strap and (height adjustable) sternum strap are quite comfortable.

The camera compartment fits my current gear nicely, there was still room left; the 35mm f/2.0 for instance didn't take up much space (about half of the space available to it).
The side pocket to access the camera works great, you just need to try it a couple of times to get the hang of it. It worked great, except when I had my small lens (35mm) on the camera; because the lens is so small it doesnt stay put very well (gravity pull the camera down and the lens isnt long enough to hold the camera in place, making it harder to put the camera back in and taking it out, but I might just have been doing it wrong, anyway this is not an issue with the sigma 10-20 or some other longer/thicker lens.
The upper compartment is very spacious, as can be seen in the photos, a college block (A4) easily fits in it. So its great for carrying books/clothing or other stuff you might need.
The laptop part is more secure that I first thought. The laptop first goes into the provided sleeve which then goes into its 'pocket' (between the flap on the back of the bag). The sleeve will be held in place by a strong velcro band near the bottom and also by the 4 clips, 2 on each side and 2 at the top, very secure. The water bottle holder is also well designed.
Overall this is an excellent bag, I will probably buy it, its just very big... so try it before you buy it..
Likes about the bag:
Its spacious, fits all my gear, quick side access to camera, fits really well, laptop is quite safe, as is the rest of your gear (back access), tripod holder, AW
Dislikes about the bag:
very long straps (they can get in the way, the strap of the side clip sometimes got in the way of closing the quick access), its big and pricy, the side access doesn't work well with small lenses (as far as I was able to test it)
