Nikon D2X

Nikon 12-24mm f/4 with reversed hood)
Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S (with reversed hood)
Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8 (with reversed hood)
Nikon 105mm f/2.8 micro
Nikon 50mm f/1.4
Nikon SB-800 flash
Epsom P-2000 storage device.
And some other stuff (CF cards, filters, remote release, microfiber wipe, Gitzo Rocket, spare D2X battery) in the pockets.
Also, I attached the SB-29s macro ring flash on the side in a lowepro drawstring bag (not sure
which model) Apple 15in computer can go in the computer slot , and tripod on the front.
Used this set up recently in Yosemite for hikes (without the computer) and it worked well - although the tripod elastic securing strings make it so you can't open the bag without unlatching the tripod (a pain) Rearranged a bit to add my D100 body as a backup (moved the Epson P2000) While hiking in Yosemite, I was using the 12-24 a lot- I moved the Epson, extra compact flash cards, CP filter, one shorter lens (usually
17-35) to a Tamrac bag that I wore around my waist in front. Have not found a suitable solution for having the 70-200 handy and still being able to hike well.
I am considering a harness set up - but need to try one one to see how i like it.

Great bag when you need to carry EVERYTHING. I got this bag to carry for trips, although I now plan to pick up a Domke F2. I also have a LowePro Off Road which I love, but I can only carry one body. This bag is a great alternative to a shoulder type bag, and I also took off the LowePro badge from the bag so it wouldn't get noticed as much. It's a very light bag with a minimal kit, but then I wouldn't really use this bag to carry a body & couple lenses.
Likes about the bag:
Good size, light weight, rain cover built in, NICE padding, Holds all of my kit for now :) doesn't scream camera bag, decent price. Perfect camera backpack, but see dislikes...
Dislikes about the bag:
Bag tips over forward EASILY when loaded due to rain cover in bottom, if the pouches are stuffed then they bulge into the padded compartment & also bulge into the front pocket which means you loose space for other stuff. If you plan to hike with this bag, you can't really put other stuff in it due the "bulge" problem from the zip pockets. I guess if you don't need it, don't bring it. Would like to have lenses on each body. If i were going to hike, I would carry my LowePro Off Road waist pack, as this backpack leaves you deciding if you want to carry camera gear or hiking gear, you don't really get to combine them.![]()

Excellent bag for size. It fits more stuff than you can imagine. Well padded, fits 17" MacBook PRO, good rain protection, fits carry on overhead compartments even on 737.
Likes about the bag:
higher capacity than expected, large front compartment, large laptop compartment, lots of optional attach points
Dislikes about the bag:
small outer front compartment opening, single large compartment vs. multiple smaller ones, somewhat uncomfortable hen fully loaded, uncomfortable top handle, horrible tripod mounting system (true of all LowePros it seems)![]()

If you really want to carry a lot of stuff, but don't need to be in a hurry to get at it, this backpack is a fine choice. As you can see, there is plenty of room for all sorts of goodies in there. It even has a space just for your laptop, which is perfect for the digi-photog on the go. As added bonuses, it has a clever tripod carrier(as shown) and a bad weather cover that deploys from the bottom to protect your investment. This bag is extremely well built and I expect it'll last for a number of years without a problem.
Honestly, I like the Tamrac 706 DC bag for regular use, but this guy certainly has it's place. I can carry everything I own in/on this backpack if I needed to including my laptop. It carries quite nicely when full, but is slower to get at stuff.

I got this bag to be able to bring all my gear including my laptop on extended trips. All my gear fits perfectly but I dread the day I need to bring a 2nd body with me. It manages to fit in the overhead bin of international flights and surprisingly, it doesn\'t feel as heavy on the back as compared to carrying it with just the handle on top. Only tried shooting out of the bag once and it was a hassle having to put it down whenever I needed to change lens or get something out of the bag.
Likes about the bag:
Decent protection, plenty of dividers and pockets
Dislikes about the bag:
Waist strap could have been padded

This is perfect bag for me to mainly organized all my gear in one place, and grab it in case of my house is on fire. I carry this whole bag only when I travel extensively, where there's place to store safely. Otherwise I use my Lowepro offroad for short trips.
Likes about the bag:
Right size and Well Organize
Dislikes about the bag:
It can get heavy at times. The attach strings are useless
