Reviews for Canon 300D / 10D / 20D / 30D / 40D / 50D / 5D / 7D

Review #1

(Added 9th Nov 2008)

Equipment list in bag :
Canon EOS 10D
Canon EOS 30D
Canon D60 body modified for full time Infrared
Tokina 12-24mm f/4
Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS

Canon EF 300mm f/4 IS USM
Canon Extender EF 1.4x
Canon 550EX Speedlite
Sekonic Meter

Lowepro Vertex 300AW and my travel gear for an upcoming trip to Alaska.

17-40mm f/4L this will be the normal lens for the D60 - however I may just leave this home in the interest of saving weight and bag space since the 12-24mm f/4 Tokina works just fine on the D60 and the 24mm side equals 38mm which is close enough to a normal angle to live with. This load is really getting heavy! I am planning to sell the 17-40L anyway.

My notebook will also be in this case along with memory cards, batteries for cameras and flash, a few filters and card reader, 2 chargers and cord for notebook.

As I said, this is my travel bag. I will carry an empty Think Tank holster case and a small Tamrac shoulder bag in my suitcase and will use these for shooting.

Thanks to RPCrowe for review.

The Notebook-Compartment is - unlike many other bags - not between the back and the heavy cameras but on-top of the cameras. This is even more useful if the bag is stored on its back in a car trunk, so you can access the stuff by just opening it, where otherwise all the weight would be on the notebook during driving around.

Likes about the bag: lots of space

Dislikes about the bag: none
