Review #1
This backpack is huge. It holds every single piece of photography equipment I use on events (except the printers!)
It is quite convenient to have a single pack to hold all this gear...but it is a lot of gear to carry in a single pack. I have used this bag for a few weeks now...and I am starting to think that if you truly want to move this much gear, a hard shell case would be a better option. This backpack is heavy and awkward to carry when fully loaded. I'm sure several people requested this design...but it is a beast when full.
I bought the regular sized Computrekker originally...but found that it would not fit my laptop, even though they say a 15.4" laptop should fit. Mine didn't. If fits nicely into this one though!
As for the backpack function....the straps are very well padded and fit well, the back is very well padded also, with a gap down the very middle so your spine has some freedom. This also gives you some ventilation as well.
Haven't tested out the water proofing yet...but the laptop pouch zipper is fully rubberized and the other pouches all have covers over the zipper. Of course this bag has the built in rain cover in the bottom if you're stuck in a downpour.
I paid $180 Cdn for this bag and I feel it is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
