The lowepro mini trekker classic is a very good bag
for your Canon EOS300D or similar sized camera. The
bag is very sturdy and will endure quite some
punishment without your gear being damaged. If you
don't have too much gear this bag is perfect.
Ergonomically it isn't the best though when heavily
loaded.
Photo Contains:
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM with above it room for my 300D wich i used
to take this picture.
The hoods for the 17-40 and 24-70
a 420EX speedlite + Stofen Omni Bounce
,
some filters,
remote cables and body caps
and a Canon 1V without the BP-E2 because this one
won't fit, it sticks out quite a bit and the zippers
just barely closes.

I also included a comparison picture with the lowepro
toploader 70AW.
This bag wont be mine for long though since a EOS
1VHS, and thus an Canon EOS 1D mk II also, won't fit and i'm
buying a Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM and a 1D MKII in a few months
so i'm going to upgrade to a nature trekker AWII.

Had to find something to house my "Beast" (70-200) for the time being, so I picked up the Lowepro Mini Trekker Classic. Not bad for the price. The pack does not resemble a regular photo backpack, so that's a plus. Holds everything that you see here plus room for another body and two lenses or three more lenses. Zippers feel sturdy and all around padding is sufficient.
As usual, the dividers are velcor, so repositioning them is a breeze. I may want to get osem velcro strips later to aide in keeping everything put jsut in case. Plenty of storage for odds and ends. I fit my 15" laptop into the larger outer pocket (although no padding for it there), after carressing the zipper closed. Has a waist belt, chest belt, and mesh backing. The shoulder straps are alright, not the most comfy, but it'll do. Two compression straps on each side of the pack to help keep the innards in just in case a zipper was ever to come undone (*cough* Tamrac *cough*.
There's one more pocket on the outside for a windbreaker or some other small goodies. It's not the AW version, but I don't plan on going out on any rainy days anyways. But if I do, I'll be sure and carry a plastic bag with me. The pack does not resemble a regular photo backpack, so that's a plus. Anyways, so that's my quick review of this bag. Seems like it's a winner so far.

I use this bag for short hiking's and such, the bag is great for the price I paid the only bad thing about it is the shoulder straps. The weight itself isn't much of a problem (yet). I'll probably upgrade to a Lowepro Pro Trekker in the future so I can fit my D70+18-70+D2x. I'm glad I'm still young, if I were older it'd be a pain to carry this thing around. :)
Price paid: 45 USD
Likes about the bag:
Cheap, can hold a lot of stuff
Dislikes about the bag:
The shoulderstraps isn't that great, wish there were some kind of padding.

after I ran out of room in the micro trekker 100 I upgraded to this bag. its got lots of room compaired and although it doesnt fit 100% of my gear it carries enough to get me by on pretty much any outting.
Likes about the bag:
Its fairly comfortable to haul a decent amount of weight and its got a sternum strap and waist strap
Dislikes about the bag:
I wish the waist strap was removable like it was on the micro 100 and that the strernum straps would stay in place.

After I gathered a few more lenses I still used the belt pack as main bag but I needed something extra for transporting all my stuff (for instance when I go on vacation). So I bought the Mini Trekker Classic. Which serves me well at the moment but in hind sight maybe the Photo Trekker Classic (which is a little bit bigger) would have been a better investment for the future.
1 - The front pocket is about half the bags size I use this for my cleaning tools.
2 - The mid pocket is the full bags size I use this for magazines I read during the flights.
On both sides there are SlipLock loops for additional lens cases or other accessories. The bottom has 2 straps for adding a tripod.
1 - can hold up to 2 77mm filter cases (B+W style)
2 - BC-400 and 2 NP-400 with room to spare
3 - 17-35 including reversed hood
4 - 3600
5 - Sigma 170-500
6 - image tank (CompactDrive PD70X)
7 - 7D + grip and 35-70
8 - memory wallet (D-Res 6)
9 - 70-210
10 - 135
11 - 28 and 50
12 - Stofen bouncer and room to spare
The inside of the front cover has 2 zipped storage spaces which hold various filters and other flat stuff.
