What do you like about the bag:
As far as I can tell so far this backpack is of excellent build quality. It's sturdy, thick, and like many LowePro backpacks it contains an all-weather cover to protect your gear from mother nature. A couple of locks and keys for the zippers are included. This backpack is probably large enough to contain 2 large bodies (it fits my 300D with batterygrip and quick-release plate without problems) and some lenses, and it should allow you to safely carry just about any laptop. All the standard and necessary velcro-adjustable padding is there to keep your equipment safe. It has several smaller pockets in the foremost compartment to keep the smaller items.

What I really like is that this backpack is intended to be used straight up, as you can see on the pictures. When you zip it open you leave it standing like it was, and you can access your photographic equipment without problems. It is fairly large and has room for all my equipment (which, I have to say, isn't too much just yet). My large 17" (14.2" wide) laptop snuggly but barely fits in its separate padded laptop compartment at the front of the backpack. I've also tried the LowePro Computrekker AW, but my laptop doesn't fit there.

The shoulder-straps can be held together by a smaller strap, and there's a waistbelt for extra support as well. The back of the backpack is comfortably padded, and it contains the all-weather cover. The backpack is quite manageable to carry, even though the backpack becomes quite heavy with a laptop and your photography equipment inside. However, I really don't need my laptop "out in the field", but I do bring my laptop and camera to work every day, and this is just perfect for me. Without the laptop the weight to carry is much less.

There are a few extra odd straps on one side of the bag, maybe for carrying a tripod? I'm not sure about these.

What is it you don't like:
It's fairly large even when it's empty, and it looks a bit dull ... it certainly doesn't have the coolness factor of a Crumpler :)

Unless you leave the laptop at home there isn't too much room to bring along anything extra such as a sweater, or you have to sacrifice some of that space that's meant for your photography equipment.

Additional comments:
I had quite some difficulty in finding an affordable bag that could be used to transport my laptop and camera equipment safely to and from work, and situated as it is at the front the laptop compartment isn't in the way when it's not in use. This bag gives me exactly what I've been looking for, at a very affordable price. Comparable bags from other manufacturers are much more expensive, and few shops have these in stock to try.

Ok if you want a large backpack that will hold everything and still be manageable, here's the backpack for you.
This is a travellers dream. It will hold a ton of stuff and is quite manageable, although it can get heavy...daaaa. As the other review stated this bag stands up to open as opposed to others that you must lay down on the backside which gathers dirt and debris only to get you dirty when you put it back on, however it will work flat backed too.
The quality, and craftsmanship is second to none, simply elegant in design. It doesn't look like a photo pack either. The zippers are some of the nicest I've ever used in my pursuit for the ultimate photo backpack. Hard waterproof bottom, nice padding against the back, all straps and connectors are heavy duty with excellent adjustability. It has a backslip for slipping over luggage handles when jetting. Concealed rain cover, waist belt conceals when not used....(Sweet no dangles!)The tri/monopod holder is on the side so you can access everything without removing it, unlike some packs that attach to the front of the pack causing you to remove it to access the equipment and it easily holds a fairly large tripod secure.
The two main compartments lock with included high quality padlocks. The front pocket has a really cool assortment of pockets, slots and slips. There are numerous zippered net pockets everywhere. When I don't need the laptop with me the extra space can be utilized for magazines, books or whatever. Bottom line...this is a perfect carry all backpack, perfect for air travel and vacationing. I do always pack a smaller bag (Slingshot 200)for the destination and around town.

This is IMO the best backpack for taking all you stuff in one package and almost perfect!
