I have to say this is one of the more stylish hard cases on the market, it looks and feels really well put together. To be honest I had`nt come across Nanuk before but they`ve certainly made an impression on me with this case. In my opinion it looks more attractive than the more rugged looking Pelican cases.
It comes with plenty of features you look for when choosing a case.
1. Impact Resistant
2. Waterproof
3. Lockable
4. DustProof
5. Crushproof
6. Comes with foam or divider options.
7. Optional Shoulder strap
Here`s a few general photos of the 930. Nice smooth lines make it comfortable to carry and looks good too.
Front of the case..
Side of case..
Back of case..
Top of case. The holes on each side at the top are for padlocking or shoulder strap. Stainless steel hinges at the bottom.
Bottom of case..
The case has really well designed latches. You pull down the light grey sliding button , then the lower latch can be unfastened. This then allows the top latch to disengage. Allowing the case to open. It makes the case impossible to accidentally open. The latches are also concealed with a tough plastic surround to prevent damage. They feel really sturdy too.
The Power Claw TM Latch system from brochure.

The handle on the case is very comfortable and has a good soft grip. You`ll also notice a pressure release valve under the handle. This automatically equalizes pressure when moving the case into different altitudes. It also allows air to pass through whilst preventing water from entering the case.
Inside the case it comes with an array of dividers. Plus a removable base insert with velcro sides. There is also foam protection on the lid interior.
I personally would prefer some pockets in the lid for manuals, reflectors, etc but the foam is good for extra protection.
The dividers round the sides are twice as thick as the internal dividers offering plenty of cushioning.
Here`s a photo with the removable base liner removed.
Dividers laid out. More than enough but would have perhaps liked some that allowed front to back dividers for even more configuration.
An optional extra is a shoulder strap. I`d highly recommend this as it certainly helps carrying easier.
Comes with a patented Aircell comfort shoulder strap section..
Metal clips that fit around the top and bottom part of the lid.

On conclusion I`m very impressed with this case. It feels very well put together, all parts feel strong and secure and its also comfortable to carry, I`d have no second thoughts about putting my expensive photo gear inside this case. On top of that it looks great too.
The Nanuk 930 is competing against the more well known Pelican 1520 case. Both cases are the same size and cost the same. But on what I`ve seen with the Nanuk I would`nt hesitate, I`d go for the Nanuk. In my opinion it looks better, the latches feel more secure and its 2lbs lighter than the Pelican. Its a no brainer!
Likes about the case:Design, Strong, Good Latches, Secure, Price.
Dislikes about the case: No lid storage. Would like extra dividers to fit front to back (both minor dislikes)
