Reviews for Nikon D70 / D100 / D200 / D300 / D700
Review #1
This is me with my Wonder Weenie™ accomplice. FYI, I am 6 feet tall (exactly). I am Brad Pitt today because I thought it would be funny, and also because I don't want creepy internet stalkers to know what my face looks like
--
The Wonder Weenie™ ready for a photography walk. The bunion and all the gear shown in one of the pictures here is inside.
--
The empty Wonder Weenie™. Fill it with cheese for an extra-tasty bag
---
This is how the bunion-loaded messenger bag looks with the bunion flap unzipped.
---
The messenger bag with the bunion inside; there is a few inches of clearance above the bunion for whatever else you may need to put into it. A scarf, hat, a pair of gloves, and a large bottle of water (or beer) will all fit on top to give you an idea. Mind you, it will look full from the outside
---
This is a "flat" view of the bag, empty. I included the CD for a sense of scale (actual dimensions available on crumplerusa website)
---
A view of the bunion unzipped and full of gear with the cover flaps down.
---
I took out the pocket adjacent to the Nikon D70 for whatever reason, but here you can see just how it top-loads into the bunion. The camera strap is folded underneath the hand grip.
---
This is what I can comfortably fit into the bunion bag (D70 gear) - mind you, the manual is in the messenger bag. The lens in the black soft case is a pop can, but nonetheless represents a good sized zoom lens
---
The bunion comes with three of these. They are angled for the fully-loaded shape of the bag. Velcro on one side, 2 ends.
---
These guys are what separate your gear from the top-zipping portion of the bag; basically, they cover the divided spaces you make in the bag. Velcro is on one side, one end.
---
An inside view with the dividers arranged for a D70 toploaded into the bag (notice the "V" shape the dividers make)
--
This is the photo-bag insert, aka "bunion," for the Crumpler Wonder Weenie.
thanks to Dave Mosher for the photos and comments
