I wanted a small shoulder bag to house my body and main 2 lenses when I wasn't needing my full kit (which is usually carried in a Lowepro Slingshot AW 200), after extensive searching I settled on the Kata PB-48.
Although there are a lot of similar bags on the market with the Lowepro ezo and Nova range, having a large sized mid zoom meant that most of them were too shallow or narrow for me to be able to easily store the camera with lens mounted, especially as it has a huge 82mm filter size too. The Kata range had the required height I needed (20cm) and also didn't have an excessive amount of pockets on the exterior which I didn't want due to the added bulk.
This may be a down point to some who wish to carry a lot of manuals and filters, but the Kata has adequate storage for me with enough space for 3 or 4 filters, memory cards, cloths and so on.
Likes about the bag:
Nice build, price, size.
Dislikes about the bag:
front clasp seems to be attached to thin material, no rubber feet. No vertical dividers. Separate AW cover (not integrated like Lowepro)
