Reviews for Nikon D50 / D80 / D90
Review #1
(Added 22nd Nov 2010)
Nikon D80 + OwnUser FBH-N3 battery grip + Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 SP AF Macro XR Di LD-IF + uv filter + lens cap / original hood (reverse mounted)
Nikon F90x + Nikon 85mm f/1.8D + uv filter original hood (mounted)
Massa macro ring tube set + nikon body cap / lens rear cap
The bag is quite roomy, two cameras (one with battery grip), with two attached lenses - with quick access to one of.
The inner build I use, allows me to choose any of four available combinations for main kit / secondary kit.
There is also place for additional small lens - f.e. 18-55 or prime without lens hood. I use it for Massa manual macro ring set for Nikon.
I use angle and border space for microfiber and lenspen.
Pockets are free, in front one you can put cokin system + holder + several rings + up to ten filters in firm case. I use it daily for my 6" inch ebook - it seems to be the safe place for e-ink screen.
There is no special weather sealing, but the bag itself can protect from moderate rain for a time. For everyday use it is fine for me.
The only thing I dislike about the bag is the shoulder belt and it's lock system. The belt is to narrow.
I'm fine with belt lock's plastic, it is solid and it survives the cilmate I'm living in (from -40 Celsius to +35 Celsius). But after two years of use - strap can't hold bag ring in right direction no more, the ring rotates in it.
Likes about the bag:
inner space, compact outside
Dislikes about the bag:
shoulder belt, belt lock
