for Nikon D70 / D100 / D200 / D300 / D700
Review #1
For fast and light travel, this is a wonderful bag. I used it extensively on my honeymoon in Alaska and it carried everything I needed. I use the side pockets for manuals and flash batteries while the front holds filters, a mini tripod and an extra camera battery. Inside the lid holds extra memory cards and other small items. The main area hold an SLR with lens and three to four other lenses. There is also a spot underneath the camera body that I carried my old Canon S-10 digital in as back up. You can strap a tripod onto the outside as shown. It's better if it's a small, lightweight model, but larger ones will fit. If desired, there is a waist belt, though I have never carried it that way. The larger leather shoulder strap is quite comfortable, even when fully loaded. I don't think I'd want to do a long hike with the bag on my shoulder, however, that's what the backpack style of bags are for.
