Reviews for Canon 300D / 10D / 20D / 30D / 40D / 50D / 5D / 7D & 1D

Review #1

(Added 22nd December 2010)

Here is the Think Tank Photo Retrospective 10 Pinestone shoulder bag. It cost me S$199 from local stores.

It's got great materials and comes with a weathered look. At first glance, my mom said it looked like an old army bag, so this bag definitely passes as being non-camera like. The stitching is perfect as well.

Here I'm trying to place a 1D2n + 70-200 2.8L IS into the bag lens down

Likes about the bag:
Compact normal size
Expands / Stretches to fit more gear
Best strap pad ever
Attachment loops outside are life savers
Side pockets for flashes
Silencer tabs at the front

Dislikes about the bag:
Expensive (Should this even be a con? It's Think Tank anyway)
Bag is quite heavy alone
Stretchy pockets outside aren't of much use (max it can fit is a small umbrella that I jam in)

Additional Info

  • Description: The Think Tank Retrospective 10-GR Small Shoulder Bag features simple exterior, allowing photographers to inconspicuously blend into their shooting environment. The softness and flexibility of the Retrospective 10 easily allows a pro size DSLR to be carried in the main compartment with a lens attached, facing downward. Within the Retrospective 10's main compartment, are two collapsible nylon pockets (one on each side). These pockets are tall enough to fit most flash units or other accessories. A hook-and-loop strap can be used to secure the contents or it can be tucked into the pocket for quicker access. The Retrospective 10 has an organizer pocket inside the main compartment. It gives photographers enough space for small, but significant, accessories necessary for a successful shoot. The expandable pocket(s) on the front of the Retrospective 10 can be used to carry a spare pro size DSLR body or other photo gear. A small hook-and-loop flap folds over the top of the pocket to secure its contents. The Retrospective 10 has only one expandable pocket on the front of the bags.
