I was seriously considering replacing my year-old Tamrac Pro 8 shoulder bag with a Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home after acquiring my 70-200 2.8 but ended up trading it instead for this Velocity 10X . I couldn't fit my tele zoom in my old shoulder bag unless it was mounted on the body and laid horizontally within the bag. I prefer leaving my walk-around attached to my camera for quick grab-and-shoot situations. There was also so much wasted space with my old bag since there were empty spaces which couldn't really fit anything else without bumping into other gear. I am very happy with my decision to swap it out. Now I can bring more gear and everything fits perfectly. It's taller but narrower which makes it less prone to bumping into things and people when I carry it like a shoulder bag and I have the option of using it like a backpack with the sling-style strap. I can swing it around to access my bag although it isn't as quick nor easy at doing this compared to a standard shoulder bag and the depth means you have to dig deeper for your lenses unlike my old bag which is more convenient when you have to swap lenses quickly. I just put my more frequently used lenses on top and the flash and mirror lens on the bottom portion. I've used it for street-shooting while carrying it on my back and despite the crowd, it didn't feel as bulky as my old bag. It's not as comfortable as my Lowepro Computrekker backpack for extended trips but the backpack is way less convenient as a shooting bag.

Likes about the bag:
Layout suits my needs though it may be a bit large for some people.

Dislikes about the bag:
Wish it were more discrete. Still looks like a camera bag. Could have improved on the padding for the sling.

Description: The Velocity 10x - Pro Sling Pack is the largest version of our popular sling packs. It holds one or two pro-sized DSLRs with lenses attached, additional lenses and a flash.
