If you really want to carry a lot of stuff, but don't need to be in a hurry to get at it, this backback is a fine choice. As you can see, there is plenty of room for all sorts of goodies in there. It even has a space just for your laptop, which is perfect for the digi-photog on the go. As added bonuses, it has a clever tripod carrier(as shown) and a bad weather cover that deploys from the bottom to protect your investment. This bag is extremely well built and I expect it'll last for a number of years without a problem.

Honestly, I like the Tamrac 706 DC bag  for regular use, but this guy certainly has it's place. I can carry everything I own in/on this backpack if I needed to including my laptop. It carries quite nicely when full, but is slower to get at stuff.

Great bag when you need to carry EVERYTHING. I got this bag to carry for trips, although I now plan to pick up a Domke F2. I also have a LowePro Off Road which I love, but I can only carry one body. This bag is a great alternative to a shoulder type bag, and I also took off the LowePro badge from the bag so it wouldn't get noticed as much. It's a very light bag with a minimal kit, but then I wouldn't really use this bag to carry a body & couple lenses.

Likes about the bag:
Good size, light weight, rain cover built in, NICE padding, Holds all of my kit for now :) doesn't scream camera bag, decent price. Perfect camera backpack, but see dislikes...

Dislikes about the bag:
Bag tips over forward EASILY when loaded due to rain cover in bottom, if the pouches are stuffed then they bulge into the padded compartment & also bulge into the front pocket which means you loose space  for other stuff. If you plan to hike with this bag, you can't really put other stuff in it due the "bulge" problem from the zip pockets. I guess if you don't need it, don't bring it. Would like to have lenses on each body. If i were going to hike, I would carry my LowePro Off Road waist pack, as this backpack leaves you deciding if you want to carry camera gear or hiking gear, you don't really get to combine them.

Excellent bag for size. It fits more stuff than you can imagine. Well padded, fits 17" MacBook PRO, good rain protection, fits carry on overhead compartments even on 737.

Likes about the bag: higher capacity than expected, large front compartment, large laptop compartment, lots of optional attach points

Dislikes about the bag: small outer front compartment opening, single large compartment vs. multiple smaller ones, somewhat uncomfortable hen fully loaded, uncomfortable top handle, horrible tripod mounting system (true of all LowePros it seems)
