The Orion Trekker from Lowepro is a durable compact nylon made photo backpack. It is water resistant (to stand quite a lot of rain, knowing by experience), but be aware this bag is not all weather proof! The belts are easily adjustable, the belly belt has a quick release lock.

 

The camera compartment (bottom of the backpack) has enough space for 2 mid-size zoom/ prime lenses (18-70mm DX and the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 are inside mine) + a Nikon D70  body & mid-size lens connected.For the rest there is some small room left for a cleaning kit/ blower/ several filter holders/ lens caps etc.The inside of the camera compartment is adjustable and the bottom is strengthen by a thick layer of filled nylon.

 

The Camera top compartment has enough space for a (rain)jacket and some extra things, I keep my image storage device in here. Inside the top part is a small water proof pocket for some small things which have to stay 100% dry for sure.   At the outside there is a pocket for some quick reach things.

 

Positive points: compact, good and strong material used, fits well and has good adjustable belts. Doesn’t really look like a photo backpack, which can be a positive point in countries where they love to ‘borrow’ your camera gear (Netherlands here...)  

Down points: not suited when you need to reach your camera quickly, not all weather proof (for the price some would expect) No way to connect your tripod/ monopod to it.  

Conclusion for me personally, happy with this compact day trip style bag, but already looking for a bigger size which is more suited for the longer photo trips.
