Like its larger predecessor the 206, the 106 features the Billingham PressTop which gives maximum access to the bag. Carbon fibre rods in the top gusset provide a light weight stiffeners allowing improved access to the main compartment. Carbon fibre will flex but won't bend and get misshapen.
The 106 is constructed using Softweave canvas with Billingham StormBlock protection.
The 106 has SuperFlex partions, the 8-15 and flap, a zippered back pocket, military spec. webbing throughout, chunky leather shoulder pad and grab handles.
The 106 is great for a small kit of either 35mm or medium format but two front pockets offer space for accessories and optional AVEA side pockets can be added for more space.

Gap-free zi p-ends prevent water and dust ingress and double zip-pullers restrict access when working in crowds etc. Double grab handles wi th original Billingham leather grip. Main compartment has four internal flat pockets for filters etc. Superflex partitioning an d thick closed cell foam base. Adjustable shoulder sling with SP20 shoulder pad.

Features

This action forms a wide rectangular opening.
One or both of the zip extensions is able to slide up the shoulder sling, opening the main compartment.
With The PressTop opened and retained in position, the contents of the bag are easily accessable.

Pros: Compact size, quality, tall design gives a nice depth.
Cons: Maybe too small for some, not many pockets, price

Nice small bag for when you don’t want to carry too much, bag height means its deep enough so that you can feel secure using it with the top open.
