The 206 features the Billingham PressTop which gives maximum access to the bag. Carbon fibre rods in the top gusset provide a light weight stiffeners allowing improved access to the main compartment. Carbon fibre will flex but won't bend and get misshapen.
The 206 is constructed using Softweave canvas with Billingham StormBlock protection.

The 206 is great for a small kit of either 35mm or medium format but two front pockets offer space for accessories and optional AVEA side pockets can be added for more space.

Pros: Durable, classic looks
Cons: Has to be price but it does last so ..

I simply love my bag 'cause I like anything that's classic & timeless. Be sure to take good care of your Billingham & it'll last for'ver. The materials are first-rate, leather should be nourished & brass polished. Ah yes you have to replace the inserts after a while though I think the new inserts last longer than the ones I have. Don't be deceived by its size, I can carry 2 bodies with 3 lenses (incl a 400mm f5.6), a flash, & still have some space for lense-cleaning equipment & filter-&-holder set. It also converts into a backpack !!

Pros: doesnīt look like a photobag, quality, durability
Cons: high price, not thought to the end

I love it for the reason that i was in the market for something i can carry everywhere without taking to much attention from other people. Quality seems outstanding so far as the bag resists any kind of abuse and still looks great.

On the downside - itīs not easy to get a Nikon D2X with attached 17-55DX quickly out of the bag. The press-top doesnīt keep the opening open so you always have to take extra care not to scratch your gear with the zipper. The padding of the strap could be thicker.

Concerning the backbag harness has only to be considered as a workarround if you move - say from the road in a rougher terrain and need your hands-free to climb arround. Itīs not intended to be used on long outings as a backbag.

My bag holds the D2X with mounted 17-55DX, a 70-200VR (upright with seperator) a SB800 (vis-a-vis of the 70-200 in the smaller seperator) and - also upright at the side - a bouch with a 50mm f/1.4 and TC17E-II.

Wrap-up: if you look for something small, durable which does attract as less attention as possible - this is the shoulder-bag to go.
