if latches on front are not locked the velcro does not keep it closed - hard to get into quickly.

Depending on your specific need this is a great bag - not so good for photography that involves a lot of moving, I have noticed that I have to set the bag down to do the lense changes I need to do.
A lot of great space, pockets on outside are big enough to hold extra filters, batteries, cords, lense cleaners, etc.
The bag clearly states "Cannon" and the silver makes it kind of flashy - a little too flashy for my personal taste because I prefer a little more low key PLUS it advertises to EVERYONE who sees it that you have a Cannon camera they can try to lift off of you.
Overall it is a nice shoulder bag that offers excellent protection. Retail price is a bit steep.
