I purchased the Airport Antidote after reading the very favorable review at: http://www.bythom.com/bags.htm.
My use is for transport, more than for field usage, probably a good thing, since with my being 6'3", the bag is a bit short to carry well on my torso. Someone 5'9" or less would be much happier.
On the trip for which I used it, I had a mixed load of DSLR, zoom lens, standard lens, binoculars, flash, spotting scope and eyepiece, 2 P& S digital cameras, plus various batteries and chargers. Loaded just for photography, it would easily take my base system of a Nikon D70 with 18-200/3.5-5.6 AF-S VRII zoom, 50/1.8 Nikkor, Sigma Apo Tele Macro HSM 400/5.6, 1.4X SPAF convertr and SB-800, with room left for expansion, such as a D200 body plus a 12-24/4, and some extras, such as chargers, batteries...and an iPod Nano.
I had no problem fitting the bag under the seat of one of my planes, and no problem getting it into the overhead even on the smaller turbo-prop for the first leg of my trip. The ONLY reason why I would not rate the bag a "10" is that so far, I can't quite figure out how to get it adjusted for comfortable longer hiking purposes.
