Description: Photos above:Front and top view of the E330 (old style).
Props shown are a Hasselblad film magazine
and 150/4 Sonnar lens with several rolls of film stuffed in the front pocket.

Shown above is the E530 and E330 side by side. Click on this photo for an enlarged view and to see the size comparison of these two popular pouches.

Although, not technically a holster case (with the traditional tapered shape), this case works well for this compact SLR cameras.
The camera (Elan II shown) works best when dropped in as shown. The maximum size SLR height that will fit in this case is 105mm (4") tall (from tripod thread to top of prism) & 170mm (6.75") deep (from film back to end of lens or hood).

----

For 35mm SLR lenses such as: 200/2.8, 100-300/5.6, 75-300/4.5, 70-210/4.5 or other prime lenses with the lens hood in the storage position. (Will also hold a smaller SLR with a lens attached -- see note below.)

Many Contax G2 and Leica M6 shooters have found this pouch as an ideal carrying case, for both on and off belt use. It will hold a body and one extra lens, or two extra lenses with an extra divider.

The E330 is also suitable for most medium format lenses up to 72mm filter size (i.e. 645 or 6x6cm lenses up to 180mm in focal length) and medium format film magazines. Not large enough for two RZ or RB lenses -- see the E512 below. Will also hold the Hassy 35mm X-Pan camera.

It is completely foam-lined with 6mm closed-cell foam. Lid has all-weather overlapping zipper and is compact enough to tuck behind the pouch when in use. Velcro QuickClose™ which secures both the main compartment and the front pocket. Two D-rings for the optional shoulder strap.

Recent (9/01) improvements: extra attachment loops on the front and sides of this pouch for attaching (piggyback) extra pouches. An A291 or other single-wide will attach to the side or front. A double-wide will also fit on the front.

Pros: high quality materials and workmanship, excellent design
Cons: None

I have the B108 belt, the M330, A200, E190 and D040 cases. The E330 in this review is now named the M330. I use the E330(M330) to hold an 85/1.8, 28-75/2.8, and a 50/1.4. Sometimes I move one of those lenses to the A200. Between the cases, I always have room for spare battery packs, a charger, filters, memory cards, etc. And best part is that the weight is on my hips, not my shoulders. This case is well made and while the Kinesis gear doesn't go on and off the belt too quick, once it's on, it stays on. I am VERY satisfied with my Kinesis gear.
