supersize

Description: Includes V100 CameraCushion™ divider.
For a large 35mm SLR body (D1x, 1DII etc.) with a longer lens attached like an 70-200/2.8, 80-400, 100-400 etc. with the hood extended. Front pocket will hold one shoe-mount flash unit.
When used on a waistbelt, the optional Y302 strap kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.
The only holster bag in the world this tall!
Does not include a shoulder strap or waist belt.

C640 fits a "large body" with "large lens" attached as defined on this page.

The only holster case available today that holds a full-size 35mm SLR body (including Nikon D1 or D2-series body or Canon 1D-series etc.) and a 70-200/2.8, 80-200/2.8 (snug fit with the AF-S Nikkor IF-ED VR [Silent-Wave] -- no space in the flap pocket), 35-350/3.5, 100-400/4-5.6 lens with the hood in the shooting position.

Also accomodates a body with a Sigma 120-300/2.8 lens with the hood reversed.

When used on a waistbelt, the optional Y302 strap kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.

Because of its height, shorter or smaller people may find this LONG case awkward mounted on a belt.

C640 will hold a body with a "Large Lens" up to 31.5cm (12.5")* long or a combined body/lens height up to 37cm (14.5").
• Canon 35-350/3.5, 300/4 IS, 70-200/2.8, 70-200/2.8 IS, 100-400/4-5.6 IS
• Nikon VR 70-200/2.8, 80-200/2.8 (including AF-S IF-ED) with the lens hood in the shooting position. Or for Canon 400/5.6 (w/ an extender too) with hood stowed.

U.S. I.D. Specs

Bottom = 4.5x4.5"
Height = 14.5"**
Volume = 390 cu in (includes 50 cu in pocket)
Weight = 14 oz.

Metric I.D. Specs
Top = 15d*x18w cm
Bottom = 11.5x11.5cm
Height = 37cm**
Volume = 6.4 lit
(includes 800 ml pocket)
Weight = 355g

Double-wide allotment on belt.

The C500, C580 or C640 will hold a "Large SLR Body"
Sample bodies that will fit. With most bodies, there is enough room with a Arca-Swiss type quick-release plate on it too:
• Canon 1D-series bodies or Canon 5D, D30, D60, 10D, 20D, Digital Rebel, Elan II, A2E, 1n, 1v, EOS1v or EOS3 with the optional vertical battery grip/power booster or
• Nikon D2-series, D1, D1x, F5 or N8008, N6006, N70, N90s, F100, F4s

The C500/C580/C640 (all have the same top opening dimension) cases will yield a comfortable fit for a body up to 16cm (4.75") deep or a tight fit for a body up to 17.5cm (6.75") deep. (The depth dimension of the these cases is 15cm (6"), which is based on the rectangle-shaped opening. SLR bodies are triangular shaped, so this series of cases will house a body deeper than the rectangular "depth" dimension).

The C500, C580 or C640 will also hold a "Small SLR Body," but the body will move around a little inside the case, unless an the V100 CameraCushion is placed vertically near the prism.

**A comfortable fit for a combo up to 37cm (14.5") tall, but a combo (Nikon 70-200 VR) up to 38.5cm (15") will also fit, but it leaves no room in the top flap pocket. One layer of the double-foam bottom may need to be removed for cameras this long.
