The Ultra-Light Bug-255 UL backpack features a combination of technology, materials and design which embody the ultimate essences of Lightweight Protection without compromises.
Specially formed foam encased spring steel Spine Guard for ultimate structural protection, light yet durable RipStop fabrics & meshes, Aeriform foams and Spider Webbing straps all join together to create a protective yet fantastically light backpack.
The incredible modularity allows you to make it even lighter by simply removing components that are not necessary for your adventure.
The unique design provides quick, separate access to your Pro DSLR with up to a 300mm lens attached. Additional 4-5 lenses, camera body, flash and other primary accessories fit snuggly in the circumference and specific dedicated compartments can be arranged using the Aeriform Dividers and ample Cocoon pouches. Secondary accessories such as cables, chargers etc. fit neatly out of the way in the zippered pockets on the front flap.
Along the back a padded 17" laptop compartment is located, while additional storage is available in the multiple flat external pockets one of which is designated for a small water bottle.
Includes items to enhance performance such as:
• Tripod Holder which can be attached to either the front or the side of the backpack.
• Double-sided Elements Cover for protection in all weather and environment conditions come rain or sunshine.
• Aeriform camera strap which is light, flexible and airy and can be used individually or interconnected to the two designated loops on the backpack harness thus providing frontal carrying for your camera by using your shoulders instead of having an additional strap around your neck.
• Lens pillow support to stabilize your camera set-up.
The backpack interface of the Bumblebee -255 UL is the last word in advanced ergonomics, the features include:
• Aluminium Skeleton – formed Air-Aluminium frame for ultra light structural protection and perfect weight distribution.
• Ultimate ventilation system – full length suspended mesh back.
• Gecko Harness – inimitable molded EVA foam harness straps feature 3D tapered thickness so as to provide extra cushioning where it counts, micro hatch texture secures position firmly and comfortably and shapely contour fits your body organically.
• Clinch-Clasp Sternum Strap – Aluminium clinch connection sternum strap for effortless
• Stabilizing waist strap.
• 2 specially designed connection strap loops for the included Aeriform camera strap
• Ergonomic Photo System (EPH) – designated connection tabs to enable interconnections with other Kata products.
Note: Bug-KIT PL can be purchased separately if you wish to add a large 17" laptop sleeve, 2 large storage pouches and an adjustable waist belt.
