Pros:
Comftable, Reasonable storage for camera
Cons:
Smallish storage in top compartment, pain to get camera gear out
Its very comftable, Has a good tripod carrier but you have to take the tripod off to get to your lens and other camera gear. I use it with my popular lens in sliplock cases on the waist belt.

Pros:
Build quality and Tripod holder. The rain jacket for the back is useful too
Cons:
Wide and small top space makes it less than ideal for day hikes

This is a well built backpack that needs a lot of use before the fabric and straps soften up and become more comfortable. It is large bag for day use and provice adequate space for a day walk or hike but it is too wide for hiking or bushwalking. The base has plenty of storage but not ideal if you take 2x medium telephoto lenses plus a 70-200 lens. Storing a camera with grip attached is less than ideal too.
The top compartment is great and part of the reason I bought the bag (way too expensive here in Australia) but it only has space for lunch and maybe a small book. Loose items fall from the top compartment to the bottom compartment, its a pain to open up and doens't have good storage if you carry multiple small things (bubble level, filtres, remotes and so on).
the tripod holder is why I bought the bag and it works well and keeps balanged but with a large metal pripod, it places too much weight on further away from the body which becomes tiresome especially if carrying 2x camera body and 4x lens.
The bag coule be improved by making it taller & narrower, sealing the top and bottom compartment off with a zip or all round velcro and allowing for the addition of a water bladder compartment.
